When did you move to Enos Park? We originally moved here in October 2013 and rented an apartment in the brick rowhouses on 5th St. In October 2016 we purchased a house in the neighborhood.
What drew you to the neighborhood? The charm and beauty.
Was your house move in ready? Our house was move in ready; it was a foreclosure that the neighborhood association had purchased and completely renovated.
What projects have you completed since moving in, or have planned for the near future? We have painted all the rooms and built a privacy fence.
Did you do any of the work yourself? All of the work is done by us and will be.
Any advice for someone contemplating a move to the neighborhood and/or a renovation project? Move in with an open mind, see the potential and help us get there.
What’s your favorite thing about living in Enos Park? Centrally located, peaceful and quiet. My 5th grand father, John Kelley was the first settler in Springfield and owned 80 acres we sit on now, really cool to be here!
